What a freaking crazy night. It is scary as hell when you are watching and the weatherman mentions your road especially down here where are township roads are not very long.... Driving in to work on the way to Circleville was an eye opener. I feel bad for all that has damage all acrossed our state!

One hit the ground in dayton last night and went back up. We were in the basement watching the live map and the rotation went about a half mile north of the house here in Northridge east of dayton. Luckily it had gone back up by the time it reached us. Was tense for a while because while they can track the rotation they can't tell you if it's on the ground or not.

So for the money, what’s the best weather app? I know this is like ford vs Chevy question, but what’s a reliable accurate app that y’all are using? I run with the free versions of weather app and like they say, you get what you pay for....

Glad none of the TOOville clan were impacted, but it does appear many of our neighbors will be. Kinda scary to me that I had no clue this was going and that storm rolled through here at 3AM. Nothing serious by then, but it could have been and I was sawing logs!

These are the ones I use...all are free. Radar works well on them but the forecasts are no more accurate than the weather guy on tv.

My wife's aunt/uncle and 4 kids (adults) all live in the area, with one being smack dab in middle with one tornado passing south of them and one north. Uncle is retired PD, one son is currently PD, said 4 confirmed twisters. All made it OK but said it's a mess. Lots of hazmat issues in Troy St./Stanley St. area. Lays potato chips are everywhere.

I do also, but for tornado tracking I use the NOAA site. In an active warning they also have a map that shows path and center rotation.

Made it through. Buddy sent me a pic of a tornado crossing fields about 200 yards from his house. He lives about 4 miles north of us. Just north of Jamestown. He said his neighbors got hit pretty hard. Areas of Dayton are a mess.

Not going back to find it but remember how you were ragging on me about wanting to move south and mentioned tornados. I've had two on the ground within 10 miles this spring, and two rotations within 4 miles. :ROFLMAO: Granted down there they're a shitload bigger, and some believe they're filled with flying snakes and spiders.:ROFLMAO:

Lol not ragging, just saying why I don't want to move south or west. Twisters and flooding are about as bad as it gets in Ohio from a natural disaster standpoint. You can keep your spiders, venomous snakes, scorpions, gators, mountain lions, grizzlies, hurricanes and earthquakes. No thank ya!

Glad it sounds like everyone on here made it thru OK. We waiting to hear from anyone?
