Lol not ragging, just saying why I don't want to move south or west. Twisters and flooding are about as bad as it gets in Ohio from a natural disaster standpoint. You can keep your spiders, venomous snakes, scorpions, gators, mountain lions, grizzlies, hurricanes and earthquakes. No thank ya!

Glad it sounds like everyone on here made it thru OK. We waiting to hear from anyone?

Yep, full of scary critters. The critters charted below that we and our neighboring states have the most in the nation of scares me more.

I guy at work had pictures of homes wiped out. Hopefully no lives were lost. They said snow plows where going down 75 clearing the road. I had to detour around due to high water. People all over without power......same type of shit predicted again....

Here is an image I found of the damage paths

Yep and I live at the red dot. No fun snatching babies out of bed at 11:15 and hauling ass. Funny story when we got in the basement I shoved my other son in my wife's arms and said I'd be right back. I ran out in the other room in the basement and retrieved a pistol hidden above the false ceiling. When I came back under the stairs she asked what i needed that for. Thinking about it for a bit I had no logical response, the only response i had was "i guess it makes me feel safe" she's been ragging me all day about how my pistol is my adult teddy bear. Lmao.

So last night I grabbed a generator I hadn't started in a couple years. Bad idea. I know. Had the oldest grab the heavy 100' extension cord out of the shop. Got it running (first pull with old gas, go figure.) Plugged cord and started to stretch it towards basement window for the sump pump. I'm 5-10' away and he comes running toward me. He was yelling something I couldn't make out. Neighbor was out with a dog. 200am. Just a crazy night.

G- Dad! We need another extension cord. This one isn't long enough.
Me- No! Use your noggin son. Just bring the generator 10' closer to the house. o_Oo_Oo_O
