Im in the "read what you wanna read" boat. If there's something in there i dont like, Im not gonna judge someone on here or outside of here. No biggie either way IMO. We are all adults (ish)

It is not condoned nor condemned. Being offended is a subjective opinion that has no basis in determing right from wrong, especially with humor. As you implied, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. I'm not going to tell someone they can't post a joke in this thread because someone is offended. Now if it was visually graphic that's a different story. But in the end we're just talking about words here. Words made into a sentence for the intent of humor. You can tell an offensive joke to 15 people. Some will laugh, some will have no reaction, and someone will grimace. The next joke the person who grimaced may laugh, and the one who laughed may grimace. Such is the result of tasteless jokes.

First let me start off by saying that anyone who would harm a child or be cruel to animals are at the bottom of my list. Anyone who would take away a child’s innocence or starve/beat a dog do not deserve to breathe on this earth. If the government gave me a list of names, addresses and pictures of these people along with full immunity from prosecution, I would have no problem driving around the country and putting two behind the ear of these people....and I would sleep like a baby. Now, as far as my sense of humor goes, if I see something shocking, taking a unexpected dark turn, something you don’t expect, a lot of times I’ll find it funny. The main thing is that it’s not real! It’s only a innocent picture with someone adding text to it for shock value. Example: we all grew up watching Sesame Street. When someone takes a pic or gif from that show and adds something over the top to it, it’s not what we remember growing up...hence the humor. I get a lot of these on Facebook messenger. I know from my friends list on Facebook who I can and can not forward this stuff to. I know which of my friends have the same dark sense of humor as me. I also know that if I forwarded that stuff to certain friends, they would unfriend me as they would find it offensive. The stuff I post is meant to make people smile and say to themselves “that’s fucked up” and move on to the next joke. Believe it or not, there are things that I get sent that I find offensive. I do not forward them and I will delete them. I do not however think any less of that person for sending that to me. I don’t ask them to try to guess what I find funny and what I find offensive. I just forward the stuff that tickles my funny bone and delete the rest. All I ask is if I post something that you don’t like, don’t get angry...just scroll passed it. If you want to think to yourself “that guys got a fucked up sense of humor”, I’m ok with that...I know I do. The last thing I want to do is piss someone off. If you knew me personally, you would know that I’d do anything to help out my friends, or even total strangers (my wife and I donate $500 every year to needy families around Christmas time...secret Santa). My will is directed to give a certain percentage of my estate to a center that studies children’s pediatric cancer, some to a MS charity (a friends wife is in bad shape from this disease), some to two local police departments specifically for the purchase of bullet proof vests, and the make a wish foundation. We don’t have kids so we want the money to go somewhere where it will do some good. I hope that some don’t judge me by my warped sense of humor alone. If you do, there’s nothing I can do about it. That’s about as good as I can explain. I have no doubt I will post something that will make most laugh, and also make some cringe. Don’t take it personal, just scroll passed if you don’t like that particular meme.
