Yea, kids and I were at moms. I was loading up the compressor and gear the sirens go off in town. Kids crying, mom freaking out. I turned on the news and the threat was already passed, wtf?

Just saw this but thanks for trying to give me a heads up. Erin and I were out in the Jeep with Otis in the back. Doors off. Rear window rolled up. Decided we might want to head towards the homestead. Looked nasty. Hung out in the house a bit. 20min later walked out to see some small tree limbs down and just sprinkling. I'll take it. Could have been uglier.
Been a nice soaker going for a couple of hours...70* just might have to cut the air off and open these windows!
We don't have ac Windows been open since Late May.
As good as it felt to open the windows...now everything is damp feeling, kinda sticky. Humidity is high! But the temp is low...should have a fire going and some beers. Maybe tomorrow evening.
