2019 season advice

Don’t live there, I live in eastern ky, hunted there years ago with little success. Both areas are about the same distance from me. Just wondered if Wayne national could possibly better for quality of bucks.
The Wayne is huge, and there are plenty of quality deer around. Do some homework, get the leather muddy, and you should see some action.
Both hold deer and plenty of hunters. Start studying maps of both and go from there.

C'mon man. What good is someone's dead deer pic on here gonna do to help you get one yourself? Honestly: these spots both have lots of quality bucks and lots of hunters. The questions you should ask that may be important are: What are the differences in terrain, forage, access points, pressure during the rut. Then use some of that information to help make an educated decision
What timeframe are you thinking? What are you willing to endure? Weekend/weekday? Give us something to work with and this place will be more than helpful.
What is a trophy to you? 120”? 220”? Meat? We have no idea what you’re are looking for and what you consider success. Help us help you.
That's later in the season, I would key in on food sources and active bedding areas. Set up in between.
That's some big goals with a very Few days planned for hunting. Maybe set goal one of seeing deer.
How is the pressure in both areas that late in the season? Main food sources? Best access points?
I’m assuming the Wayne in split up into private areas as well, unlike the big continuous area of SSF

Sarcasm there. Honestly, those are big goals for a few days of hunting. If roles were reversed, I'd be on state websites, forums, OnX, AND putting boots on the ground early. As in. . . Last March. In fact, roles ARE reversed. I am researching hunting your area right now. I haven't once logged onto a forum and asked for specifics about where to find a trophy. Do the leg work Mike. There are people here who will help you. Myself included. Finding a deer this caliber takes a lot of hours generally. Lots of research. Lots of time in the area. I wish you much luck.
I do have some trailcam pcs and videos from both. First is a neat video that I captured of two bucks fighting at Shawnee. Never did see them on the hoof.
Second was a nasView attachment 84675ty encounter on the Wayne with my guide, Coonskinner. He said he could get close, I had no clue.
