Anyone have one of these? My wife has been on me about getting one but I just dont no. We don’t fry food much like once a month but I have to say I love me some fried chicken wings and fries..

We bought the large one last year. With a family of 5, it just isn’t big enough. We like it, it just doesn’t fit our needs and takes up valuable counter space. So it spends most of its time in the basement.

ive never timed the difference in the air frier vs deep frier. Just feels like it takes twice as long. Maybe I’m wrong and someone will correct me. Seems like I can fry enough wings/fish/fries for 20 people in an hour. This thing feels like it takes 1.5 to feed my family.

We have one. Used it once then stashed it away. Like others have said, giant unit for little production. Deep fryer gets a lot more done, but if you're wanting to be healthier it is what it is.
The new gadget we use the most is an instant pot. We didn't use it alot at first cause it's just sketchy but the last few months we have used it a ton cause you can cook roasts or any meats extremely quick. Perfect for if you're running out of time but want a good meal. If you dont have one of those, get that instead. Makes awesome chicken wings in no time at all. I also cook squirrels in it, tender as can be.

We have a large GoWise USA that I want to say is a 5qt. The wife uses it all the time for things like fries, tater tots, fish, and even steak for the boys. Very versatile and has kept the oven off a bunch.

If you get one make sure it has a large capacity. Takes up quite a bit of counter space but a smaller one just doesn't cut it. Unlike a real fryer you can't just fill the basket up half way and go. A single row of items in the basket is best but you can go two deep.

We have one. Its rather small...but big enough for two people. We generally dont fry chicken in it. Instead we do pizza rolls, breaded chicken breasts and egg rolls. All stuff from the frozen section of the supermarket. Chicken generally takes a long time. However it is healthier. It does a good job on small batches...3-4 pieces of chicken...etc.

I'm home from work & just had some more salmon the wife fixed up in our air fryer like last night .I honestly can't tell the difference between something from that & something actually fried for the most part. Ours is a 3 1/2 qt & it takes up a lot of room. One of her daughters has one that's the size of a mircowave that pretty much does what a microwave does.... fries, dehydrates , bakes, rotisserie & who knows what else. The damn things take up too much room.

We have an air fryer oven. I think its 16"x16". It has two trays. Its really nice for throwing fries, nuggets, fish sticks. Gets them crispy in about 7-8 minutes. Great if you have kids. I like to fry chicken in it. Dip raw legs or thighs in eggwash and flour with some cajun seasonings, spray with some veg oil spray and 400 degrees for about 20-25 minutes. Flip about halfway through. Freaking delicious and juicy

I just used it for 10 frozen nuggets and tots the other night. 10mins later they were as good as coming out of a deep fryer..... definitely going to be adding some meals to the recipe book over the next few months.
