Oh yeah he did most of it because the 50 yard death run was straight into tree tops. I basically followed behind and tried to push it up over logs as he was pulling. He has a habit of making things happen.

When I'm buck hunting doe's nearly climb in my lap but man once I doe hunting those old girls seem to really get smart, there nose gets 60x stronger or somethingHaha, it was all part of the game. I’m in the same tree as last night. Just had a nice one come through at 40 yards with no shot. That’s the only deer so far, hopefully there’s more. I’ll be here until noon.

I hope my doe sightings increase or I might not shoot another one on this property. Seems I’ve seen more bucks than does! So much for "perfect" weather last night... bout a half hour before sunset all hell broke loose. Wind blowing the rain sideways as the temperature dropped a good 15 degrees. I was trying to get a jacket on as the target doe slipped past behind me. Climbed down and spent the last 20 minutes sitting on the ground.
All my stuff was wet and half frozen this morning. In the dryer now, give it another go this afternoon.
