An hr after that BB left, 3 deer came out of the thicket across from my popup annnnnnd walked down the edge to my place. At last possible light, I was looking up towards where deer would come down past me and these ....from what I could tell ... wide symetrical weeds up in the brush about 60 yards, caught my eye. As I stared at them, I saw what looked like ears & then bam, the whole front end popped out at me. It wasn't that Ten, but I'm pretty sure it was the other night time buck from same posting, looking down, looking for does. It was getting darker & he stood there maybe 15 min until one of the neigbors turned on his patio light to let the dog out. Once that was all done, I couldn't see him any further & I scooted out. I never did hear him snort or run off, so all is well.

WTF is the 9th ? Nov. 6th 1986 is what started it all for me. I was out squirrel hunting & was almost ran over by a buck hot on a doe's tail . I was so amazed he never saw me. I saw a few other bucks with does on that morning.

Noooo. I mean why did u pick the 9th ?
It’s always been easy to remember as I always see tons of deer on that day. It’s my old mans birthday. I’m not sure I’ve hunted that day more than a couple of times either, but I remember killing deer on his birthday both times I did hunt it. So the 9th is the day to be in the woods! Let that be your new lucky day.
