Just got off the phone with ol Kim. The above posted reply is what they can offer me for help. I understand they can refund my money but that's not the point and I don't feel I should be out that money for any amount of time and I don't feel I should be the one paying for the fuggin shipping. The bow shop owner WILL be shipping this release back and getting me the one I asked for and paying for the priority shipping to get my release swapped by the end of the week or he can refund my entire order. Fuggin BS

I think you're totally in the right on this one, Adam. Stand your ground and don't take no for an answer. If that shop owner keeps trying to fugg around, we'll have no problem smearing his name over here....

oh especially if he plans on being at the shoot this weekend. I have no problem talking 30 people into going over to his booth and asking him if he has the same release that you wanted. LOL

What a dick! I would take your whole rig and the receipt back with you and drop it on the table, see if he wants to be a little more friendly this time.

Called the shop and left a message telling him I would be at his shop this evening. I will either have things fixed and done right or not have a bow for the shoot this weekend.

See how things go but I doubt he will have a good time at the shoot if things go sour.

I hope he does. If not it's a good thing I have a witness in Dante since I had him go with me the day I picked everything and told the guy to order the Shootoff.

I cant imagine the look on the guys face when you put everything you bought in front of him and say, take it all back. I doubt he will but im sure he will be pretty emberrased. Hopefully there is alot of people there to see it too.

Some of these shop guys are rediculous. I just can't believe after you spent all that money in there that he is being this big of a jerk. you would think he would be bending over backwards to help you out so you send other people his way.

Went to the shop and had him fix my draw stop :smiley_chinrub: I guess I don't know that you can just grab any old draw stop off a cam hanging on the wall or one off a bow hanging in the showroom to replace a broken stop on an Elite. I guess I need schooled more then I though. Anyway, I get home with new stops installed and after 12 shots one of them is now cracked. I am by no means a hulk and pulling that string back fast and hard enough to be breaking these things that damn easy IMO. I will be calling Elite tomorrow.

Now with the release issue. I said " hey we need to get this changed out. I wanted the shootoff not the SX2 and gave him the rundown of what Kim had told me this afternoon. His story has changed to " I know stan makes a trio shootoff but my supplier doesn't carry them. That's why I told you we had to go with the SX2 " He never said anything about that Dante or myself can recall. Anyway, he took the release and said he would call Kim tomorrow and see if they can work something out and then he would call me and let me know. Still up in the air for now to see if he will make it right.

He will be at the shoot this weekend. I asked him tonight just to make sure lol.

Wait, wait, wait.....There is no way he should have just grabbed some draw stop off the shelf and threw it on your brand new elite...Elites warranty will take care of that. Elite wil lsend you a new set without a doubt if you tell them that it is broken! I have a 2009 GT500. Dale called them and told them my string stop rubber was split and was making all kinds of noise when I shot. What did elite do? They sent me a brand new one! I love elite!

They will make it right..
