Good stuff man.
Are you trolling, casting, close to shore or open water?

Sorry Joe, havnt been on in alittle with Christmas and having 3 kids. Now that christmas is over i was acually able to get out for a couple hours tonight. Ive been fishing from shore, and fishing in a cove in southern part of alum. But went there 2night and still had ice over most of area i fish, so went to the crowded place everyone and there brother seems to go above the dam. Must have been 12 people there when i left. I ended up with one. Not real big, but adds TOO the ones hanging out in the freezer with my 8 pt i got this year. 😁 everything ive gotten this fall/ winter have come on smithwick rogues. Lot of people like rapala husky jerks, i use them and have caught lots on them, but rogues have better action. They need to be tuned some to keep them suspending and not rising or sinking in water for best results. The best time of year is november but as long as theres no ice you can catch them. Anyone who likes fishing should try it , especialy in fall. Most times after its sitting there on the pause, when you go to move it a little or twitch it they hammer it. Thats a great one JOHNROHIO. fatty female. My biggest was mid nov at 26.5. But didnt have the winter belly like that hog. I lost a hog that hammered it about a week ago. Last few ive gottn its just been awheight on when i go to move it. Looks like with temps and rain sat ill b able to hit cove again here by this comming week.

So true. Sometimes its on when you start or other times fish for 3 hrs and nothing then youll hook 3 in 10 min time. Only fish in ohio you ccant target. On night on fire then next nothing. Most rewarding fish and excellent eating. Once you catch one on the jerkbait. Youll be hooked. Very addictive fishing

Nice report Lucky. I usually get after them if we get those warm spells in January. I get some absolute pigs at the St Mary spillway

Ever pull any northerns out of the spillway? I live in van wert and hear of guys doing it but never tried myself
