That option is listed in my OP! I got home and they went straight into the boot drier. Wife closed the laundry door and opened the window. Weird how it basically appeared in two days and got bad in a hurry.
It is bad. Might just throw these boots away and start over. Only two months old, but something went wrong here.
Just get some shoe disinfectant and deodorizing spray ya big idgit.

First off: Don't you ever let Dave think he is our friend.
Secondly: He wouldn't be out 24". Have ya seen him? He might loose 4".
After 3 cycles on my newer boots drier (timer and a blower) the smell is almost completely gone.
I’ve also sprayed more chemicals on my feet in the last 18 hours than in my entire life combined.
I’m going to continue this until Monday and wear my old Danner’s.
