Not everything has gone for the good. The front porch post is nowhere near square.
Since some of the contractors can’t drive, the supervisor asked if his dozer guy could dress up the driveway in front of the garage. He painted lines where he felt his guys would be able to turn around easier. I trusted him and fell for it. It is much better but part of my yard is now driveway because he couldn’t stay inside the lines. For $3000 dollars this is the quality of work I got. Yes that is stone on top of plywood.

Painting, doors and lights got done this week. Here is a walk through from the front door into the living room/kitchen.

Flooring and gutters are what's on the schedule for this week. I'm off until Friday night after I beat this night in. Hoping to get a lot of brush cut and burnt this week.

That is totally understandable! I had a hunch that was you...how many people are driving at that hour? Only reason I remember anything is because I couldn't catch up to you!
Our driveway was a well established logging road. Very well packed and I have over 200 tons of stone so far. I’m going to cover it with 57s once we move in.
We used to do that and went with 72s. Really helped with rock chips on my truck and it has held up better. Being a shared driveway and us having active kids, it gets a ton of traffic. With 57s we had to do the driveway twice a year. Now we do it once in the spring and only add gravel every other year.
