Was able to meet him a few times at the Lima Gun show or at Max's Show. He even text me a pic of his buck one year when he was pissy with TOO. Cantankerous. (Sp?) Ornery. Stubborn. Set in his ways but willing to learn and try new things like food plots. Passionate about the 2A. Wealth of knowledge. If he liked you. . .he liked you. If not. . .he wouldn't waste time on you. And yes. . . .I mean all these things as compliments. I wonder if people realize how much design work and testing he did for bullets and reloading equipment? He was one of the big innovators back in the day. I believe Lee reloading equipment benefitted from most of his designs. Whether you liked him or not, you probably have used some of his ideas in your reloading equipment if you were into reloading at all. RIP Frank.

I wonder what happened to all of those .22 military training rifles he had. I remember him saying once that he had over a couple hundred of them. Would be a shame if they were all off loaded at a crappy estate sale.

I highly doubt thats what happened with them. I found a cell # for his son last night and was texting with him. They will be at the gun show in Sharonville this weekend, Chad and I will be there b/c I need to buy some ammo. Hence the reason Ive been trying to get a hold of Frank for quite a while. His family is still in the business so I imagine they were either bequeathed or sold at gun shows. Im going to assume that his wife in still in the same house, which is sandwiched between his son Mark on one side, and his daughter on the other side.
