RIP Frank.

Damn, that's 3 we found out about in 3 days. One was an old neighbor that was a Michigan State Police Sergeant, spent a lot of time at their house growing up as all 3 boys were my age. The other was an old Michigan DNR friend I worked with at the state park nearby for many many years. Spent a lot of time in a hunting camp with him over the years as well and was just thinking about him when we ran into a friend who gave me the news.

They won't go to a crappy estate sale. Dustin nailed it. His wife worked with him at gun shows. His son was active in the industry. They may not know the values as well as Frank (or maybe they do?) But they know these aren't just Marlin 60's

He always reminded me a bit of COB. Hopefully they are eating at some greasy spoon in the big sky talking guns right now. RIP Frank.
I had the pleasure of meeting COB, didn’t meet Frank but talked too him on the phone a few times picking his brain on a couple reloads and guns over the years he was a member here. He also had that COB way too him....
Like Phil mentioned, if you got along with him he’d enjoy a conversation with you. If not, move along....
