I always thought it fascinating how they chose to display this statistic.
2018 SNAP program beneficiaries
35.7 percent were white,
25.7 percent were African American,
17.2 percent were Hispanic
I think this is a better way.
44.2 million SNAP beneficiaries.
7.2% of the white population.
27.4% of the African American population
14.6℅ of the Hispanic population.

The other one that they spin is the percent of homes with guns. Yes that has gone down but there are way more homes so the actual number of homes with guns is way up.

Yep and that's the worry. My question has always been why isn't the WHO there. We shouldn't be guessing or relying on the communist Chinese government to give accurate figures. This is why the US pays the WHO hundreds of millions a year.
And the US is not immune to such a collapse in medical services. Sure we have the best medical care in the world. But it is also a giant lumbering conglomerate that can be easily overwhelmed. Consider your local hospital. How many beds do they have capable of taking care of pneumonia-like patients for two weeks. Let's estimate on the high side and say 300 beds. Doctors are saying about 20% of people who catch the virus require serious medical intervention. That would mean that it only takes 1,500 local cases to fill the hospital. In Springfield, there is one hospital and a population inside the city limits of about 59k and another 75k in the county. So if 0.2% of the county catch corona the hospital will be full.
I saw everything I needed to know on the Communist Broadcast System (CBS) evening news a while back when this was first spinning up - they said that China was building like 7 hospitals in one week and showed film of about 50 trackhoes in one worksite all going at it furiously. I was like "Holy Shit!" and told the wife that if they were reacting like that, there's a damned serious problem. In America a building project of that scale couldn't happen except in cases of war or national emergency - but if the commies decide to make something happen, they can jump quick.
So now seeing the way the reporting is going doesn't surprise me one bit.

They gotta run news on something. What better than a new virus that's getting people sick. They know the conspiracy theorists will run with it and cause more panic which feeds the flames of the media since there will be people hungry for more information about the sickness so they will keep running articles that have no more new information. Just like the last 5 times this has happened. They don't run it on the flu every year which kills a slew of ppl cause we all know and expect the flu to occur. Something out of the ordinary tho, big news big monnies!

The difference is nCoV is twice as contagious and six times more deadly than the flu. It's not just the young and old that its killing, its also otherwise healthy people. It has spread far more than SARS or MERS was able to and has done so in a fraction of the time. This is if we trust the communist data, most agree its far far worse than that.

Health care providers however cant stand those, cause the fear just makes people with flu like symptoms flood to their healthcare provider thinking they have it too because they had chinese 2 nights ago.
But I'm sure I'm wrong and were all gonna die within the year. Due to this or a meteor or maybe the russians. Not sure just yet.

no you don't. not as an employee. who ever signs your paycheck is paying the state unemployment insurance tax, not the employee. it's just another tax on business.

Also notice how this is being reported on, where we know very little information yet every news agency is pushing out live updates of non-sense and opinion pieces from various individuals and organizations of what the little information they know COULD mean. Just look at all the articles with the word COULD in it, in regards to the coronavirus. It's all bs opinions being pandered to the sheep that are eating it all up and sharing it as truths. Just hilarious how some see through this if the topic is one thing but if it's another omfg its gotta be true this time, media cant always be full of it!

SARS infected 8,098 people and killed 774 in 9 months.
MERS has infected 2,494 and killed 858 in 8 years.
2019-nCoV has infected over 40,500 and killed 910 in a single month. And that's if you believe the Chinese numbers.
Sure would be nice to get some factual data out of the communist huh. Maybe its because they're too busy kicking in doors and throwing thousands of people into concentration camps, killing whistleblowers, enforcing immediate cremation or corpses, managing media blackouts, shutting down air, land, and boat traffic to quarantine over 400 million people. None of which happened with SARS, MERS, or the average flu. The above isn't speculation or fear-mongering. That's happening, right now. I'm not going to say the media isn't hyping it up with a bunch of could, would, maybe. That's what they do, ratings make money. However, there is a reality to this and all we need to do is look at the information coming out of China to see they are scared shitless and reacting way beyond what they're playing this out to be.
Never underestimate the lengths a communist government will go to keep power.
