Now, I don’t know about you, but if there ever was such a mega conspiracy, I believe we’re living in it right now!

My kids believed in the Easter bunny this morning. A day that we believe a man rose from the dead 3 days after being buried. Yet no one I know seen that happen. Doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Happy Easter Denny. Relax and take a day off to be thankful for the things we have.

The cool thing is, we don't have to have been there to know it happened. Probably the biggest testament to the resurrection is the fact that 11 of the 12 men who followed Him all went to their deaths (one died of natural causes) as martyrs.

I don't think there are too many people out there who would continue to willingly / knowingly follow a lie once it was demonstrated to be a lie for the rest of their lives and die for it. If the resurrection didn't happen, nothing else that happened afterwards makes any sense. If He didn't rise, they would have gone back to their former lives and that would have been the end of it.

My friend that I posted that killed a nice 10pt was laid up with covid 19, over it now. I also have a great friend/ coworker’s dad that’s on a vent in the hospital right now. Wear your foil hat and stuff it in the sand or count your blessings that you and yours have not been infected.

Here is the only the only thing that bothers me.

There was no plan. Ok maybe I get that. Still a failure but I get it. What is pissing me off is there is still NO PLAN. Shutting down the economy, sending an entire country home, tens of million of jobs lost, is not a fucking plan. That's the reaction of being unprepared without a plan. Thats what you do to buy time so that you can ramp up A PLAN.

Lots of talk about "flattening the curve" to get the cases below the available medical capacity line. Yet NOTHING is being done with reasonable speed to raise that available medical capacity line. The higher that line the more cases we can handle, thus the quicker we can get this shit over with. I haven't seen a single commitment date for treatment trials, a vaccine, opening businesses, ending quarantine, delivery of ventilators, solving PPE shortages, meeting test demand, expansion of Hospital space to handle the next rise in cases when we open everything back up.

They still don't have a damn plan. The longer this drags out the deeper this country is going to spiral into a recession and eventual depression. From that will likely spur a revolution. Eventually people are going to look at the government and say "fuck you buddy"

Companies can only retool so fast. Vaccine research happens daily. Always has. They are learning daily. Many companies are now making masks. Ventilators seems to be taking longer. They've named additional places to be used as overflow/makeshift hospitals if needed.

I understand your point. This is being reactive rather than proactive. But, stuff is happening. Just not as fast as the virus was picking up speed. Sounds like it is slowing and we are still reacting and doing stuff.

@Jackalope I hear you, but I don't think we have anyone in the world who knows what to do and how to fix this right now. It's like coming up with a plan while the tornado is hitting your house. About the only thing you're focused on is getting to an interior room to stay alive. We can't build the bunker now, it's already too late.
