What are these bugs?

They don’t bite or anything. Just annoying! I don’t remember them before. They fly. Got really annoying right around dusk last night.

Me and my oldest were down at the pond last night and they were really bad, I hadn’t remembered them before either. Mine bit, felt like those biting Gnats they have in Tennessee.

Nope. I would think it was a beetle of some sort.

General shape looks about right, but it's kinda hard to tell for sure.
