The thermacell is worth it's weight in gold, Mike. Do yourself a favor and pick one up ASAP. The ultimate test is sitting in a marsh along the Sandusky Bay, hunting teal in September... Trust me, it fuggin works.

I didn't get any of the extra cartirdges yet.
I also picked up a Hunter Safety System harness vest that was on sale ($10 off) for $69.98
Before I was using the harnesses that always come with the treestands, but I figure it was time for an upgrade. As soon as I get my next reward money from them I'll pick up a youth saftety vest as well.

OK, sat on the front porch this evening where I get tore up ona nightly basis to the point I get chased inside. I sat there this evening and the biting began. So, I went inside and gramed the Thermacell. In a matter of minutes the biting stopped and I sat there watching my kids ride their bikes and then play whiffle ball without one bit of a nuisance.
