Decent Bear on Property I Hunt...

One of the guys that deer hunts the property I bear hunt sent me this pic of a bear he got on his cam... Looks to be a good one but hard to tell... I'll probably go hang some cams and put bait out around Sept. 1st... Once I do I'll start a thread of my bear adventures and update it from time to time...

Only thing the pic could be deceiving... It appears his ears are big... Rule of thumb is big ears small bear... Small ears big bear... Ask Dave... But I still think he's 450ish...

Ears are that angle though...look how short those legs look and how round everything is. That’s a good bear. The angle of the cam compared to the ear is making you second guess. That looks like a good one to me, Rich.

Oh he's a good one Dave... Maybe save him for Dan next year... Set him up in ground blind about 10 yds from the donuts... Oh by ground blind, I mean something natural like a blown down tree, since technically you cannot hunt from a tree stand or a constructed blind within 100 yds of bait in Jersey...
