Today was possibly the last opportunity for a heat vote but we all pussed out....I kept reminding everyone of this fact but still couldn't get any takers...

Damn! Just saw on the weather channel that the storm surge will be unsurvivable in some spots...and the window to leave has closed...all roads out are now flooded. Also, some places in Texas and Mississippi have the threat of storm surge AND tornadoes. Weather lady said you can’t take shelter in a basement because of the water...and you can’t go to a higher elevation because of the tornado. I hope everyone left when they had the chance.
When you get rare opportunities to blow off a half day of work you go for it haha, only way we get any time off.....rain extreme heat or extreme freeze.
Should of just named the hurricane “2020”.... That’s a lot of shit hitting at once, here’s hoping they’re wrong about most of it....

I do, but thats too many mornings to watch the sunrise while on a visit......thats a seasonal thing that also has to be itched......you dont get that shit in NC!
On occasion, but I can scratch that itch in a 7 hour drive.... Give or take... Less if I just visit some friends in WV....
