It's weather just like this around here that brings it home, letting me know were getting close. Our typical mid to late morning September fog in our little valley.

Every year I screw myself with side jobs in the fall. Working weekends instead of enjoying the season. I have pushed back 3 people now until spring to enjoy fall fishing and hunting. I have to lay a few more block and cap a dumpster wall at our church and I'll be good to go.

I worked right past a lot of ruts. Never hunted them and just looked forward to chasing bucks in the late season. Last year and this year are a little different. I'm enjoying not working my life away!
