I’m in a good spot We have not had any really good ones show up on camera here yet. There are quite a few does here though and unless these bucks are liberal, they do like does at this time of year. No high hopes. No expectations. No concerns.

Farmers packing up shop and a good buck is chasing a doe on the opposite side of the woods. Excited to see how we finish

Made a gamble that I am kind of regreting. Rushed to the stand to hunt the last hour of light but was worried I would spook a deer. Figured id go for it since I cant hunt again until monday. Got to the edge of woods and sure enough spooked something. Climbed up and hit a few grunts hopefully to make it think it was a buck who made the crunching.

Thanks for the “good luck” guys. It’s surgery #4 on my knees, but first on the left knee. Torn cartilage, so hoping it goes good, and I’m limping back to the blind on Friday or Saturday. I’ll update you guys post surgery. Best of luck to everyone getting sits this week and weekend. I’m almost as happy seeing your deer as I am getting my own.
