7 does and fawns. The breeze quit right when I needed it the most. Smelled me at 12 yards.
Fuckin skunked. Gonna try a morning hunt tomorrow. See how that goes

Want to shoot a doe and only had good shots at bucks...drew back a couple times on a big doe but never had a good shot.
Was hunting a woods point along field edge and the deer were tearing the acorns up and hitting a picked bean field.

Only encounter tonight was with about 60 TURKEYS. Never seen so many of them bastards grouped together like they were it was incredible to see and hear! When they came in I thought there was a fucking stampede of deer coming through, to my surprise a shit load of hens and toms mixed together. Gonna give the morning a go. Had a decent young 10 come in the last few mornings. He comes by he’s gonna get an arrow.

Have seen several does this morning but none in my wheelhouse yet.
Got in the stand and the snow started, looks like a whiteout.

hunting late season is a lonely business. nothing else like it. I'm going to get back after the deer for the last week, after squirrel season ends. I'm starting to miss sitting in a tree stand a little. good luck, gents.

He wouldn't stop so sent it to him.
Hit the bastard in the hindquarters, he ran in a circle about 3 times yipping and made it in the neighbors crp field. I would say he screwed.Did find my arrow.
