Contact them. They aren't known for selling/making junk. If nothing else maybe it will help aid in a move towards a new design.

@jagermeister and @Jackalope, how was the sizing on your Crispis? Really liking the construction of those boots.
I ordered 12ās, which is the size I wear all of my boots these days. I will say at first I was worried because they felt a little tight. But I have the normal amount of toe room. I think the tight feeling is more due to the ankle support system and just the fact that they are constructed better than most boots. The more I wear them the better they feel. To me thereās nothing worse than buying a pair of boots that feel great in the store, then 3 months later they feel āwollered outā and sloppy after they softened up. In short, Iād say they are true to size. If youāre a tweener, go up a half size. I just ordered another pair the other day and again went with a size 12. Iāll let you know if thereās any issue.
I have 4 pairs of Russell Moccasin boots size 13 that don't fit anymore, 2 pairs of Sheep hunters, Imperials, and Zephyrs, nice booths, lot of life left in them, but they're just too small if anyones interested.
After the poor quality of muck boots I switched to Thorogood boots, well worth the price.

Awesome tread pattern. And despite these being a lower boot, more like hiking boot height, the amount of ankle support is extraordinary. They would be great for the hills of SE Ohio. These will likely see more work than play, but if I was getting them as a āhunting bootā Iād probably opt for the taller version... for a bit more freeboard when crossing streams and wet areas. These are the little brother to the Idaho GTXs. Fit is absolutely perfect so far. True to size pair of 12ās.
Someone send @jagermeister a commission check. No place to try these on within 2 hours, so I'll roll the dice and risk the shipping on a return. I'm ready to take the next leap in boot after wearing out 2 $200 pairs in the last 5 years.

But donāt thank me. Thank @Jackalope. I never heard of Crispi boots until he mentioned them before his trip out west for elk. I then did a little research and decided they were worth taking a chance on. Very happy that I did. The price certainly isnāt for the faint of heart. But so far they really seem like theyāll stand the rest of time.
My dad had an adage I heard a bunch growing up. "The one thing worth spending money on are boots." As a surveyor, he "hiked" more than the common man and always had nice boots even when he had nothing else that was "nice".
The insulated Nevada looks like a nice boot. Haven't been steered wrong around here yet. From bosch wiper blades to tulster holsters lol. I hear there's a check coming so I know where 425$ of it is going lol.
After my third video I'm hooked. Got the green light from the wife so just need to decide if I need the insulated or not.

Yup, I also got the Bosch wiper blades after reading a post on here last year. The field tests on here are spot on...people will tell you what is good and what is trash.
Sort of reminds me of the "pay once, cry once" saying. In many instances this is very true.
A good pair of boots ain't worth much without a good pair of socks.
So I just read this whole thread and I'm wondering if @Hedgelj bought the crispi or some other brand?
If those weren't made in the USA, but over in China or Japan, do you know what they'd be called?
