Also I have never snagged a fish in me life. The fish caught my hook. Their problem not mine. Life’s good!!

🤣🤣🤣. I always admired the old school snaggers that used the clear metal flake tails that blended in with the fish. Not that you seen it above water when they were armpit deep taking them off
One year early 90s it was 3rd week of April. Went with my uncle in his 18 foot lund. Anchored up in front of Schroeders near the east end of bluegrass Island. Temps got up to mid 80s that day and the water temp spiked. Those walleyes were slamming a clear metal flake twister tail. One of my most memorable days down there. We got a 3 person limit. I believe it was 5 per person then.

With salmon, the stress of catching the fish prevents them from spawning. So all the released snagged fish are for no good. Makes zero sense. You can also legally snag them at the mouth of the ocean.

Get your limit and get out of the way. I think it is more disgusting when you see those Christmas tree fish swim by.

come end of April I'll start throwing tails again. The small Jack's start aggressively feeding and chasing jigs
