Carpenter bee traps and badminton racquets....we’ve got a half dozen of each hanging outside. You can get the traps on eBay, Home Depot or make your own.
No, they see the hole, go in to investigate...they see the light at the bottom and go to it. They aren’t smart enough to figure how to get out. The holes are drilled at an upward angle so that once inside the trap, the only light visible is at the bottom of the trap. They are very effective. We’ve already emptied several of our traps this spring..and I’ve killed over 30 with the racquet’s.Do you bait the traps
