well, when you deer hunt practically every day for 6 or 7 weeks you need options for wind direction, to avoid over-hunting an area, some are morning only, some evening only, etc. I'll likely spend over half of my time in three or four stands. still, I bought two of these used, one was given to me to use a "community" stand, and I bought the rest because I they are the best hang on stands on the market, imo. I'm looking to unload a half dozen Gorilla and Rivers Edge stands that I don't use any more if anyone is interested.

found this today while I was preparing a new stand site today. no, I did not run over it with the mower. 😉

Believe it or not, when I was out at the other farm yesterday, I actually found a fresh scape and a licking branch above it along the edge of the bean field, I was totally surprised by that. I forgot to take a pic of it though, darn it. I'll take one next Saturday and won't forget.

I've been keeping all of my hunting clothes outside hanging up in the dry space under our deck since I made it a dry space 5 years ago. I get dressed and undressed out here every day when I'm hunting deer with the bow. my dressing room for hunting.

Was just contemplating how/where I could add an outdoor storage/changing area. Definitely worth the investment and effort. If I ever build a building or garage, it'll be a part of the plan.
I have a canning room in my basement with a dehumidifier, scent system and keep all my clothes in a couple wilgame innovations Zerotrace trunks. Absolutely love it.
