Been in the stand since 330 nothing, Huron county, raining here
Drizzly mist. My little girl came back. Had a friend join her. They stayed 40yds. The two young bucks offered 20-30yd shots. If the one had another 20-40lb on him I'd have killed him. Just not big enough for freezer. I'd burn a tag on a big bodied 90" rack buck this year. Lol
I haven’t saw a thing… Sorta contemplating getting up and going and having a beer.
The problem is I don’t feel like walking.

Just not feeling it this evening. By the time I get to house I may just want to relax… I know I would have to go to store and get more beer. There is some in fridge yet not enough…
This could lead to a rough Sunday morning hunt.. Although some of the worst feeling days have been the best days…
There is a big crock pot of something waiting for me….

Had a 4 pointer come in. Watched him work a scrape for ten minutes at 20 yards. Looks like that’s my entertainment for the day.

Best I can do for now. Hopefully that other big one will stick around the farm a while now. This old dude ran all the other bucks off the farm last year.
DAMMIT MAN! Sooooooo Close. Glennas buck came in at last light. She needed 3 more steps and he froze...made a 90° right and went into the thicket. She was all wound up on the ride home.
8 doe 5 bucks. She passed on a 130.... now she's talking about going in early to leave early.... Gonna be an interesting week.

My grandnephew, a 2nd grader is bringing by his first buck, a 5 point that he shot after grunting it in to the buck decoy i gave them. It's the same young man i put a video up in this string earlier where he was rattling.
He called to thank me and he should be by in about an hour with the deer!

Oak came in at last light harassing three separate does. Never slowed down or even responded to anything I did. Closest he was to me was 22 yards and I couldn’t take a shot on a trotting buck. Not comfortable enough yet. Good to know he isn’t locked down yet, though! He came right out of the bedding I thought he’d be in and was nose down on this big momma doe for about twenty minutes doing laps around my tree! Excellent closing of the evening! Back again tomorrow!
