I was adding up some numbers and I’m coming up on 200 hours on stand. I had more than that last season. This buck is costing me some serious time! Sum bitch. I’ll probably get a buck in Jersey the first day! Our gun season starts this coming Monday.

Just got in…bumped 3 bedded down behind my blind . Feeling a bit under the weather…hope I can hold out till Sunday. Maiden voyage for my .350 build. Now I can shot at, through, into my blind all day long …and I probably will!

Saw a little but awhile ago, son’s basketball practice for Saturday got canceled and he wants to hunt, so I am headed home today, will go to his two games then hit the road after his game Friday afternoon. Weather looks crappy for hunting this weekend, but we will be here and in two weeks.

Just saw that half rack. First time during daylight. He was very skittish.

I seen a few groups of deer. Nothing mature. Had a good sized 6 come by that got me going for a minute. But he didn't have brows and hopefully turns in to a giant some day. I also had the opportunity to bury one of my shirt sleeves. Been a few years since that has happened, lol. Knife is official dull after digging a hole.
