Yeah saw that, I’ll pass. Yellowstone is on Hulu, why not 1883? It’ll show up somewhere sometime where I don’t have too do that. Free 7 day for these episodes what about the others? Done playing them games…

Games is right. When we first cut the cord we found that Yellowstone was tough to get so it's on Paramount, got a free subscription to Paramount+ and we should be good right?! Nope, Yellowstone....a Paramount show is not on Paramount+.....Fuggers. We decided to keep the + though with shows like 1883 and Mayor of Kingstown coming up plus we seem to find several other good shows on there so guess they got us. Still get Yellowstone for free though LOL!
Tammy and I binged watched the first 7 episodes of season 1 yesterday and both really like the show.
If you haven’t watched True Detective on Spectrums On Demand its a really good show as well. Matthew M and Woody H both do excellent job in the first series.
The second season has an entirely new cast which stars both Rachael McAdams and the actress playing Beth on Yellowstone. I liked the first season better but the second is worth the watch.

We just finished the first 3 seasons and teeing up season 4 on Paramount plus now. Haven’t gotten into or hooked on a series like this since GOT.
We’re done with all seasons 1-4, great show for sure! Now back to Ozark.

Just watched episode 9 of 1883 and got me thinking that we really can’t know or comprehend the hardships, sacrifices, pain, and loss of going west on the wagon trails. It had to be unbelievably difficult.

I’m only on season 1, episode 9 of Yellowstone. I’m liking it so far!
They quit playing 1883 on cable. I'm not paying again. Maybe when they are all done I'll pay the $5 monthly subscription to binge it.
We started 1883. Holy shit its good! Billy Bob Thorton in Episode 2 plays one hell of a role!
Not quite the same character he played in tombstone …..

The character he plays, jim courtwright was a real person. I think they protrayed courtwright pretty well if you read about his life.
It was also cool they included doans store at the river crossing. That was a very real place as well.
Many of the characters are based on real people, so far the show is amazing. The narration and being told from the view of Elsa is great. Tyler Sheridan is great as Charles Goodnight, another real person.

We watched the first episode but then they made you sign up for Paramount plus. We had already signed up for Disney plus, HBO Max, Hulu and Netflix to watch certain series that we like. Now with all of the great reviews, the wife wants to break down and sign up for Paramount plus so we can continue watching 1883. I don’t even want to know how much our cable bill is every month.
They offer a 7 day free trial. You can binge for free, but even at $5/month, it's worth a month or two to see it IMO.

Yup, we got a week for free, then $5.35 per month. I believe there are ten episodes so we’ll be busy the next few nights.
