Tinnitus

I have suffered from tinnitus for a while now, and it has gotten noticeable worse in the last year or so. went to have my hearing tested couple of weeks ago. I did the lipo flavinoid thing religiously for several months and it did exactly nothing for the ringing in my ears.

I have low frequency hearing loss in both ears, but worse in my right ear, which is apparently great cause for concern. I have to get an MRI on my head to find out why my hearing deficiency is not the same in both ears. I suspect I'm well on my way to hearing aids, too as I'm not willing to live with impaired hearing.

I am shocked by how many of us deal with this.

Levi has always been funny about shooting guns without ear pro...maybe he's the only smart one. He won't even hunt without protecting his ears.

And for myself...probably time to take that sub out of the trunk.

I didn't figure it was helping😂. I haven't been around anything crazy loud since my ear drums popping. I was hoping it would return back to "normal" but it should've done that already. So I'm stuck with what I have now.

Giles I wish there was a magic cure but there is not. 20 years as a steucture troop will do that to you. It has been proven that high blood pressure and drinking can increase the ring. I myself use white noise and it does help drown it out. My hearing aids have the white noise filter and it helps to.

Pretty amazing that this many people suffer from this and there is no cure. Lifelong conditions and nothing...I suppose I should just shut up and put my mask on now. SMH

Following as well . Been dealing with it for 10 years and the last two years it's gotten worst to the point it pisses me off. This past year has been the most irritating with the popping on top of the ringing . Especially when they both pop and I temporarily can't hear shit . I give all the respect to the world to deaf people I honestly can't imagine dealing with not being able to hear at all and the challenges they have to overcome on a daily basis . Much respect I'd lose my shit!

It’s a double edge sword, some shit I’d rather not listen too…..
