Depending on how it casts. You can remove the string that you’re using, put about 25 yards of mono and use it as a filler tie the two lines together and reel it back on. Might get a little more distance out of it.

I float a piece of wonder bread on a hook with no weight so I'll be flipping it after then come in to chum (whole slices of bread). I was told he fished dough balls on the bottom. Surface fishing for carp with bread is a blast. It works especially well where people feed ducks.
