Admit it, you like being "that guy". :ROFLMAO:

I may order a deluxe Lansky set/kit. (y)
I have one from years ago, but it's worn out and only has 2 of the set left.
LOL, yes, you're right. that was a big fat lie. Something else to consider is that single bevel heads are a little harder to get scary sharp than double bevels.

I'm aware of the harder steel in the single bevels. Another reason why I'd like to have found a better/easier way to sharpen them. 🤔 I have a worn out Lansky with 2 different stones, that just ain't gettin' it any more.
I think I'm going to order one of the newer 5 stone model kits and get started on these broadheads, before the snow flies.

I would be worried about a wheel not maintaining a flat edge. A "false" bevel could be had and it will feel sharp..but its more or less useless for any longevity. Thats what i feel that cardboard wheel does. Quick edge, but its useless as it screws the edge geometry.

There is one particular grit that wears faster than the others. I think its around the middle of the 5. The stone is brown. The stone started wearing and that stage ruins the bevel because the geometry gets off the correct angle due to the wear. Other than that I sharpened 20 knives as soon as I got it!

This is the guide that I use on my Slick Tricks. I'm sure it would work for other broadheads also.
