Help aging

How old do you think these guys are? I feel like that 6 point is an older deer that will need taken out this year. Thoughts?

I’d say 2-3 but closer too 2.

I wouldn't say any of those bucks are older. The buck with the feeder in the background is 2.5, maybe even a healthy 1.5 and the other 2 8-points are 2.5, IMO. The buck in the middle pic could be 3.5 and is the best candidate for being an "older" buck among them. That term is relatively to your goals and the neighborhood you're hunting in.

Thanks. Had a buddy tell me the one in the middle pic is 4.5 but that didn't seem right to me. The one in the top pic threw me a little bc of his body size. I will for sure be giving these guys a hard pass.

I agree all deer are young deer but some deer have it and some don’t when it comes to potential in antler size and development. IMO, the first deer ain’t got it so if you were to cull a deer he’d probably be a good candidate.
