These boards are ship-lapped. If your sawyer does his job correctly all you have to do is get the first row level and it is really easy after that. It would look sweet with a squirrel on thereLatest display: a buddy was tying squirrel carriers at work. I asked him to make me one that is different lengths to hang shed antlers from. Not sure I’ve found the correct resting home for it yet but it looks cool to me. It’s hard to get a good pic of it
