Even the old side-hill-shuffle couldn't stop the train from coming off the rails this AM!

Snow this morning transitioning to snow this afternoon 1-3ins.
Snow to sleet to rain here. Had 5 chasing 2 does biggest 130s.
Another was sniffing out some does. Eye looks funky?

I’m out for now. Heading back in, after a couple hours of break. The bird had a 6.75 inch long beard but had some great hooks! I have 51 hours of sits in the past 7 days. I’m getting a little tired and burnt out but hoping something gives! Gonna stay positive and hope something makes a mistake by Monday evening!

Congratulations on the Turkey...I seen 1 small doe and 3 small bucks . I'm eating lunch then to a different stand for the evening hunt.
I can't win. Travel all the way up here to hunt and the property owner decides it is a good day to gather firewood. FML

My son in law lost his #2 to a neighbor, 151”. The guy shot it from his porch while eating corn in the backyard.
Tyler and his buddy found 2 giants to hunt on a property they have always hunted. The landowner also gave permission to out of staters and some locals.
Deer hunting should be fun. But it gets so frustrating.

My love for hunting is the most toxic relationship I've ever had. And I'm convinced that no piece of reasonably huntable property over an acre in these parts, is hunted.

Buckeyes is a blowout so far , I was half dozed off in the chair when my phone started ringing. I got another invite to my buddies place in tusc where I seen all those deer last time . Fugg this game my fires relit!

FML. Picked a big one up on cam. Went to hang a set to ambush him this evening. Got a stick up and he jumped up 20 yards away. He walked away giving about 10 different shot opportunities. Of course my bow was on the ground. No idea what to do tonight and I didn’t finish hanging the set because he wasn’t that spooked.

Set up in a brush pile on a edge of a swamp . Have some scrapes 30yrds away . Hoping they want to walk the edge instead through the flooded swamp ..see what happens
Snow camo or brown? I have a feeling i might be the only white thing left on the ground by magic hour. Going to melt fast.

So change of plans. Had the wife drop me off on the other side of the field. Does never left the field and they tend to feed to this corner. Wind is questionable but if he stayed in that wood lot he’ll likely push them by me at dark. Pretty aggressive move but only have today and tomorrow to get it done.
