In a tree. Must’ve had a hot doe in here with there being at least 2 if not 4 bucks coming through here between 2 and 5 yesterday afternoon. Wind is certainly questionable, but it may work. At least One confirmed shooter back here so there is still hope. But please, do not be mistaken, deer hunting is still dumb. Good luck to anyone out tonight.

Does and another really good up and comer 10 pt this morning. Lol got me real excited at first. Think my mind was trying to convince me that he was another deer. Went in for lunch. Set up an AR in 350 for my daughter to use during youth season this year. We shot it over lunch. Man she was hitting bullseyes at 50-75 yards and she really likes the gun and handles it well. She’s pumped for next weekend. Back in for the evening and hunting a pinch point that has always treated me well. Fingers crossed for a stranger strolling through.

Well they’re moving. Nice young 8 with a good spread just worked through the funnel making rubs and scrapes.

Driving in on Friday afternoon saw a buck chasing a doe in the pouring rain (dummy). Saturday AM had a decent 8 come through. He hit four scrapes on his trail in. I let him pass. A few minutes later saw a nice hat rack (8 " G1s at least) rubbing his rack in a tree @ 70 yds. I grunted at him but no reponse and he walked off in the wrong direction. Anyway I know where he is and Ill be back in a couple days. Didn't see a lot after that and nothing this AM. Kind of surprising, I though there would be a lot of action this weekend. Lazy frigging deer.

Sick of seeing the same basket 8 point, slummin it on public land
I'm in. Hoping it is my redemption day. Bucks I hit high one week ago today showed back up on trail camera in the last two days. Doubtful he uses the same trail. It was at 440ish so coming up on the time he strolled thru following does. Does in here at 340 yesterday. We shall see. Good luck all.

Very quiet these far outside of the neighbors yelling at their dog, and a cat that almost got it’s wig split, but I was told by the landowner that it’s the neighbors pet lol, squeaked that fuggar in from 55 yds
