My bride works one night a week doing a reception for visitors at a major hotel chain. She puts out the wine and cheese along with salad and dessert. 4 hours a week at mid teen pay, but for that she gets "team member" rates for 30 days a year plus "friends and family" rates for another 40 days a year. We have been to Florida, Branson Mo. and Omaha Ne. plus she has us scheduled for Myrtle Beach in September. I can't hardly argue since we get 5 star hotels with cooked to order breakfast for less than 50 bucks a night, then we get half off the dinner menu too! Having done this the past several years we are now Diamond Level with free room upgrades and special parking areas plus extra days stays to try new hotels out as well.

I hope I get to my camp soon just to take a vacation from all these vacations...

I really hate to admit how well my lungs feel down here around the gulf. Even when the wind is blowing I'm not having any issues breathing. Kids have even made comment that I've been singing in the truck again.
Same for me when we head south. I seem to have ‘terminal snot’ here in the Midwest, but feel great in the south.

my son and I helped an older gentleman get his awning back in. He had it out too far, it sagged caught rain and bent the tube. He was waiting on a repair person to come, even with goodsam it would be expensive and several hours. We were able to bend it back some and get it rolled up to where it was almost closed, secured it with some straps. Saved his vacation and some money.
