First fawn of the year

First set of twins that I have on camera so far this year. These are @theotherfarm and there seems to be a good number of fawns at that location from what I can tell just from today's trail camera observations. The deer daylight activity for today has been non stop at both farms pretty much all day. I suspect that;s because of the much cooler outdoor temperatures.

Anyway, I know my place, the deer I think went through a stressful year last year and kinda expected a low fawn count,for this year, but I am happy to see that the other farm seems to be right on track from what I can tell so far for this year. I say about normal.

Never do I get tired of seeing these type of TC captures from the front yard. Just somethin about it that makes my heart skip a beat each time. I hope that's a good thing

Nice too see the triplets made it so far…. I have yet to see any doe with any fawns go by the camera….. A little concerning…..
We've had a couple hen turkeys with 10 poults initially, the other day they’re down to 5….

They're not the greatest photos because the fawn did not step out in front of the trail camera when I took them and my cellphone zoom-lens is completely messed-up, can only zoom up to 3x currenly and that's it, something broke inside of it, so I think I need another new-one again, darn it.
Anyhow, the youngest fawn and/or the most recent addition to the local herd, well, just before the heavy downpour 🌧 rain hit earlier this morning, he stepped out from the tall weeded field and started heading towards the feeder, but the heavy downpour came before he reached it. The poor little guy stood there in the buckets of 🌧 rain for nearly the entire time under one of the big pines He eventually stepped back into the field again before the rain slowed down, not seen again yet for today, but quite certain he'll make his way there eventually sometime later today.

So, these are what I captured of the little guy, and he's doing great btw. Very happy to see him come along and getting bigger everyday

The other farm is loaded with fawns pretty much, which is typical. Didn't include any this go around from there for now.

From overnight or earlier this morning, and then what I observed while working at the my desk around 10 a.m.

Went to retrieve the garbage can at the end of the driveway and out popped one of the resident fawns for a quick bite from one of the big pine trees

One of the multiple mothers with twins from @theotherfarm, which is typical for that property each year. This was taken from 'Week III' unreleased video that I'll throw out for good measure for now since these video projects are huge and take time to put together to release. I have hundreds of twin fawn trail camera image captures from that location just over the past three weeks, since the TCs have been up and running for the year.

A daily event almost during both the mornings & evenings out in the front yard. The fawn is the same one I had a close encounter with back in July and seems to be getting along real well.
