Frosty mornings get me fired up. When it smells like fall I'll be all in.

I am not. I don't even have arrows built. But Kaydence is ready and that's all that matters for now. I'll get caught up eventually.
Perch are still biting. Way too warm to get me excited for deer yet.
I'm excited to get out & watch them walk by. Big guys won't be moving thru until early November though. Ya never know .....
I hunt a nature sanctuary that requires me to tag a antlerless deer before I can harvest a buck or I wouldn't even go till October 25th or so depending on the weather. So hunting with trad equipment I need to go every chance I can just to get it done. A mature doe is very challenging with trad equipment. Sometimes even more then a mature buck. Don't want to sound like I'm bitchin there's no place I'd rather be then in the woods then with my bow. So I'll get though it!
