I'm out, since 4:30. Better out than in, no expectations. Been watching a few does at far corner standing around doing nothing for 30 min.
Deer are bored, they decided to lay down.

Have a mature doe and what looks like her little one browsing in the cut beans. Mom was not taking her time getting across the field, and was continuously looking back, but she is now browsing heading back the direction she came

Hunting on the weekends in October can really be annoying, especially when the weather is nice. Weekend warriors, glad I don’t have to be one of them.

Ended my evening with a few deer milling around in the distance in the cut bean field and an obnoxious neighbor whose hobby is apparently mowing the last 30 min of light lol. Work tomorrow, then off at 7am Monday and south I go. Good luck to anyone going out tomorrow!

We have entered the season of completely unpredictable. Any time in the stand isn't a waste.
