Well, the Big10 just rats eachother out. Michigan still gonna get punished. Maybe this year, maybe everyone lawyers up and it's years down the road. I suspect there's still lots of big news coming out and others will be in trouble tooEvery team breaks NCAA rules. It just so happens the big 10 is really shitty at not getting caught.

It could go either way. He did kinda lead with his helmet but it wasn’t a late hit IMO.

I don't see targeting or a late hit. He hit him within the "one step after release" rule but technically driving him into the ground is considered "roughing". That's not what they called however as they said "contact with the head/neck area." Which, whatever, the pass rusher buried his facemask in the guy's chest and his shoulders made contact at almost exactly the same time. Yeah the top of his helmet hit the bottom of the QB facemask but come on. Where else is it going to go on a straight frontal tackle? I personally think it was a clean-ass hit and the dude just got his shit kicked in. He didn't have to land on top of old boy like that though. .

That’s basically what I saw too and why I said it coulda went either way. Driving him into the ground with full body weight does appear to be flagrant and unnecessary roughness though. Would've been a no call 4 years ago. Sucks that these guys forgot they play a contact sport.

You are correct. The first article I read said banned from sideline. Just read another article that says he is banned from game venue.
Penn State could be the victim in all this. Michigan might just be a little extra pumped for the game. Take out all there frustrations on them. Should be a decent game to watch.
Michigan is just flat out better team. The big difference between OSU and TTUN is they CANNOT afford to lose McCarthy but we CAN afford to lose McCord, IMO. We might actually get better if McCord got replaced.
