Saw 3 this morning. One fork head under 10 yards, Isaac gave him a 2 year pass. Running doe, after shots fired in the distance and an unknown. Grunting deer on the ridge behind us. Back out after lunch.

I've been sittin a new farm about a mile away from where we stay came back over here at lunch to get a couple cams going again and wouldn't you know it both the bucks I've been hunting down the road were here daylight on the 16th, now I'm wondering if the lady last night hot one of them or a deer I hadn't seen yet. Im sitting the foodplot where the 9 was the other morning we will see what happens.
I'm in. Levi had a game, MIL is in town keeping everyone else occupied, so here I am. Been wanting to sit in this spot for 10 years. Logs were pretty freshly fallen back then. Not sure what took me so long, but it feels right right now. Feels like a good spot to scare a doe to death.
Got skunked this morning when I climbed down at 11:30. Ran some errands and back in same spot cuz best stand we have with this NNW wind. Two doe were eating clover in frot of BT(decoy)around 2:45 and somehow this ninja slinked Hims way to his stand and didn’t bump them. I heard them in the brush around me within 15-20 yards but I couldn’t move till they walked off cuz I had no idea where they were at…..hate that situation! Anywho, had a small 8 skirt BT and me UW at 35 yards. Just need a shooter do that if any are around!
