Hicks I had to laugh about your muzzle loader not getting cleaned. Mine is still loaded from last year. I didn't want to clean it lol.

Mine was emptied. It was the last day of bonus gun? Maybe muzzle loader season? Don't remember. All I know is I was running out of time to fill the freezer. Breech plug hole was not a hole. Crusted solid. Made it shine again last night.

After a day of hard work in the kitchen, then eating and drinking too much, I took the easy way out this morning. Short walk and a comfortable sit. I said I wasn't going to hunt this spot without Kaydence, but with her recovery still ongoing from her tonsillectomy, ya snooze, ya lose!

I’m in on the edge of a thicket. Hoping to catch something cruising the edge.
Over gunned for this spot with the -06 as all my shots will be under 50 yards, hopefully keep them from running into the thicket

Nothing, was hoping for some good pre-rut movement and scrape freshening from the bucks I have on camera in this spot. Oh well, hopefully they will be more willing participants next time

Didn't see a deer, neither did any of my 6 cell cams. Apparently the deer had too much to eat and drink yesterday, and are smarter than me so they slept in. Stupit.

Had three does come by at 9:00 that was it. I'm heading back home. Going to hunt there till that buck comes back or the season ends
