I think a lot of people think self employment is only the storefront, white apron, smiles, and interaction with customers. Truth of the matter is if you want to make it you better make ridiculous margins, or be large enough (think solid employees to help) to have some serious turn over of work.

Being self employed doesn't mean you are going to be a moolinaire. It means you enjoy working at your own pace and doing good work. Kody is a dreamer and enjoys that kind of life. His problem is getting bored with things and leaving them behind. Is is a hell or a starter, just doesn't finish much. This is the battle I'm having with this. I work enough hours, I am not interested in finishing what he starts. Now if I could get the wife on board...I believe her shit pay from the school could be recouped in short order.

Hell, if I can figure out a way to use this to file exempt in my job, that would be a $30,000 a year raise for us just by itself. That alone is more than she makes at the school. Anyone know a good accountant/attorney that knows the ins and out with this kind of thing? I need to talk to someone.

That is crazy. We don't have the population/kills that you do. But that is wild. Even at $100 that is crazy to make $200,000 in a couple of months.
I look at their books where people sign in, they literally have people from all over on one page I saw 7 different counties where the deer were harvested. They just do a good job and have a good reputation for their specialty stuff.

I wonder how many they can do in a day? And they must have a huge cooler if they hang them
They are Amish so when you go out there during the busy times the whole tribes there basically. When we dropped those 3 off there were 2 early teens boys skinning as they got hung up and an older guy checking them in. They rent a reffer trailer for the busy times to store or freeze once skinned. They gave us a pickup date of this Saturday so they move threw them pretty quick when they can.
