I'm not giving up. I am in the angry stage of all this. Mostly because I don't feel like any more deer need killed off the property. The group that runs the property thinks otherwise. So I need to shut up and do my job. Or at least put in a effort. I know lots of people over the years that have lost spots because they didn't listen to the people in charge of the property. It isn't mine, I am a tool, so I will tool.

Yeah I need one more for our quota down there. Was going to go this morning but pussed out! I don't want to shoot a doe there either. Have plenty of young bucks and would rather take one of them than a pregnant doe.

I will likely just take whatever gives me a chance that doesn't have antlers. I'd be perfectly fine with shooting a shed buck off that property. My ratio is WAY off.

I'm closer to 4:1 in favor of the bucks. So if anyone wants a buck property, I know how to achieve it. Kill all the does. Headed that way in a minute. I'll check back in after dark. I have been going stir crazy since my shoulder surgery..my buddy's Dave and Mike got me out of the house today and we went and sat in their redneck blind..saw alot of deer and was able to shoot their Excalibur xbow with one arm and took a big doe today.
Made a good double lung shot on her,she ran 30 yds and stopped, then ran another 50 yds and dropped over. Was so nice to get out and do something I love with my friends and put some meat in the freezer. Also saw several bucks that have shed one side. My buddy Tommy came over with his sled and gutted and hauled her out for me. He is gonna butcher her tomorrow. Had alot of fat on her. Good way to finish my season.
