13 years based on 3 hours per day which is 593 days continuous burn. I had a feeling I was replacing them far more than that but I have probably 50 can lights in this house so it was hard to remember. I've started writing the date on bulbs that I've replaced.
Tight ass! Mfer has 50 can lights.

Shit adds up, I aint cheap I just hate unmanaged costs. That's just the indoor can lights. The fuckn wall lights on each side of the front doors have 4 bulbs each, 4 can lights in the poorch roof, and 4 security flood lights on the front corner. Thats 16 bulbs just out front. 🙄 At 2-4 bucks per bulb I feel like I have another mouth to feed sometimes.

Yea it does, I have 82 light fixtures in our house, 35 are wafer lights that can't be changed, several fixtures have multiple bulbs.

So the bulb total is 61, they average $5.00 each that is over $300 in bulbs alone, not mention the wafer lights that will probably go bad at $20 a pop.
