All this talk had me motivated to do something about my Duluth socks. I went to do some research and it looks like I just need to move on to Darn Tough and never look back. Not going to be covered any any warranty because of "abuse". Even though they claim a 7 year wear on them, the warranty is only for a year. Other customers have gone down this path for me. Many of them actually.

I'm gonna walk them into a store today and see what happens. Some things just aren't worth the effort and $200 worth of socks after 4-5 years of use fits in that category.

Just ordered a couple more pair. My original first pair finally gave up the ghost…. Been good socks so far…. I’ve got like 7 pair

The only pair that failed, is when I was pulling it on and 3” above the ankle tore a quarter way across…..

Haven't tried those but really liking the darn tough ones I've bought except one pair.

Another vote for Darn Tough, I wear the lightweight hikers year round for every occasion/use. Plenty warm in the winter and my feet never feel hot or sweaty in the summer.
