Recently expanded PACT ACT eligibility for VA Healthcare to all vets exposed to toxins.

Toxic Exposure Risk Activity (TERA)

Beginning March 5, 2024, VA is making all Veterans who meet the basic service and discharge requirements and were exposed to toxins while serving our country eligible to enroll directly in VA health care without first applying for VA benefits. We’re using every tool at VA’s disposal to ensure that as many of these Veterans as possible come to VA for their care.

So after mentioning @woody in the weather thread, I went on the search in my contacts and found him. Been catching up in text and he mentioned this for veterans a first responders. So I went and looked it up. Sounds awesome and a great thing! I'm gonna have to get involved once life slows down a little.

They brought us lobster tail and steak once on a convoy in Afghanistan. I never believed the chewing on a good year tire term until I ate that lobster tail.. and I'm pretty sure the steak was bailer twine soaked in steak seasoning , didn't know a piece of meat could honestly resemble a rubberband ball. Went back to the tent and cured my appetite with the whiskey sticks and crackers the old man sent me
