Yesterday, I set up a pair of freezer monitors at the house. Both of our freezers are over ten years old and I'm starting to worry about them failing. Found a wifi connected hub that monitors up to eight sensors. Mocreo is the brand. Chinese most likely. With an Amazon coupon, got the lot for 57.00.

They provide temp logging and alerts for when the hub loses connectivity or when the sensor detects a temp outside a preset range.

Finally got off my ass and ordered one. Been thinking about this for a while. But like most things that deal with technology, I’m a little gun shy.
It was easier to set up than I figured, and operated as advertised. Then it had a firmware update and the clock went too 88:88 for about a day. I’d sent a ticket through the app and within their specified timeframe of the fix, it was back to normal.
It’s more of a piece of mind scenario for me, nothing would be worse than opening one of the freezer and smelling rotten meat 🤢 Not to mention losing all my venison! 😳
